Most of the time everyday, I feel guilty for not doing anything! I spend the whole days doing mundane tasks here and there. I feel sad for these state of affairs. Something was missing, but I couldn’t figure out what!
Then one day, I just started running. I ran for hardly 10 minutes. I enjoyed the pain in my legs, the breathlessness of my lungs and the salty sweat on my face! Bingo! I was in love with running. My guilt has started to fade away. I feel more happy and energetic with every passing day.
What has changed I asked one day to myself?
I had found a purpose and a way to channelize my energy!
I am a very energetic person and would love to do different activities to dispense this energy. If I don’t do anything productive, this energy starts to buildup inside me in a negative way and makes me sad and frustrated. Then the things happening in your surroundings also adds up. So to flush out these negative thoughts, one needs to constantly do things purposefully. Having a purpose brings in clarity and focus.
So I found a purpose in running. It drains me physically and also flushes out the negative thoughts thanks to the happy hormones called endorphins released during this activity. It makes me more focussed everyday.

It is a simple thing which brings joy in my life!
